Freedom Insights - John F. Kennedy, Gerald Ford, and Albert Camus
Timeless insights on the nature of freedom.
Here are three quotes on the nature of freedom.
These quotes highlight:
- the value of various individual freedoms, including freedom of speech and thought, academic freedom, freedom over one’s personal way of life, etc.
- the importance of value-based governance, and the dangers and harm of corrupt practices.
John F. Kennedy, 35th president of the United States (1917-1963).
Gerald Ford, 38th president of the United States (1913-2006).
Albert Camus, philosopher and writer (1913-1960).

Gerry Ford lived as long as JFK and Albert Camus combined. Time is only one measure in life.
JFK's quote would sound better without the 'For' intro, and with a 'between' after 'judge'; but I didn't make it to The White House. I would have enjoyed JFK's take on the covid propaganda - right out of Krushchev's playbook.
