Dr. Matthew Wielicki argues that there are no metrics to show there is a climate crisis and we should not rob our younger generation of their ambitions by scaring them to believe there is one.
Dr. Matthew Wielicki, thank you! You are going against the official narrative, which is so needed. Malinformation and indoctrination, hoaxes -- it's so difficult to keep our heads above water...
First paragraph reads like Wielicki believed the deadly virus lie? I presume this was not the intended comprehension? Otherwise, we still have a way to go if he can see the truth in the climate narrative but not the other biggest scam of the century?
Hi Joel and thank you for the comment. We did not talk directly about Covid as this was not the topic of our interview, but as you probably noticed, dr Wielicki compared 'Covid science' with 'climate science': “We saw that with Covid. That was a rapid politicisation of science. And we're seeing it with climate change. Climate change has been a little bit more slow in moving into politicisation of science." The first paragraph is my representation of the situation that was unfolding in 2020 and how the general public more or less felt: the confusion, fear and anxiety about what was presented as a deadly virus was commonplace back then.

"the Covid crisis and there was a lot of ignorance and fear about the disease in society at large."
A lot of IGNORANCE and FEAR-- isn't it a true statement?
It takes real courage to stand up for facts and science.
Thank you.
