How do they increase cost?

If clean energy was short term cheaper than coal, then no one in the world would use coal.

Forget the costs. Costs can be manipulated and argued about forever.

The important point that everyone misses is that wind and solar are net destroyers of energy.

This is a beautiful book by Schernikau and Smith.

It is a scholarly tour de force, combining the depth and detail of a doctoral thesis with crystal clear writing. This is a rare combination. People who don’t need the full story can get what they need to know from the beautifully illustrated 24-minute video produced to promote the revised edition.

It seems that wind and solar power can only survive as parasites on the more efficient conventional generators.

To think we were actually gung ho regarding alternate sources of energy! Money was provided to put up large numbers of solar panels and windmills before we even substantiated the, in the flesh, abilities for those modalities to provide cheap and voluminous sources of energy. Easy money for the landholders, easy sources of electricity for taxpayers, what could be sweeter? Despite protestations by real experts, the alternate movement gained speed and then we are given the good news- it isn't what it appears to be, Nirvana thanks to Alexander Volta. Why not invest in that magnificent money maker, wars? If you're on the inside, money will overflow your pockets, what could go wrong?
