I had 4 AstraZeneca vaccinations throughout my last years as a doctor without the slightest side-effect or reaction. Well after my retirement, attending a hospital for a heart angiogram I was infected with Covid.
I maintain that it was Covid virus, and not the vaccine which has damaged me and strongly suspect that much of the long lasting disability attributed to vaccination is really Covid infection caught within a day or so before the injection to a week after it especially in those who did not get an mRNA vaccine.

Hi, Phillip! Sad to hear about your condition and I hope you get better! I am not of course going to argue with you about what can cause such bad symptoms as I do not consider myself an expert. Regarding Heiko Sepp's condition I tend to trust the expert immunologist who managed to diagnose him at last and connected it to vaccine.
But your comment also got me thinking that it must show something about those vaccines. You received 4 doses, still caught Covid and with such harsh consequences as you describe. It seems as if these vaccines are not effective at all at what they are supposed to do. Am I missing something?
I have no doubt that the mRNA based vaccine is causing what I will call here "long Covid-like conditions" in many people.
My thoughts. 21st century emerging knowledge of nucleotide biology has given some clues. Up to now, DNA-> mRNA->polypeptides which are biochemically reactive (act as regulators and hormones etc) was thought to be standard. We now know several important instances where a short-chain nucleotide is the active agent.
Sars-Cov-2 is a single strand RNA virus and it is very variable. In the body it will not just replicate itself totally but also break up into short chains of RNA which make brand-new never seen before biologically active molecules and also brand-new short polypeptides.
Both the novel fragments have the potential in a living body to effect all sorts of immune and hormonal and metabolic pathways.
We will eventually get to separate out different sorts of "long Covid" and find out the nature of the different pathways of pathophysiology for the brain damage, the heart damage, the kidney damage and the immune system storm or storms which seem to be part of the complex we are faced with.
Both the virus itself, and the subset used in the vaccines can lead to the same results.

Historically, many infections produce lifelong or prolonged immunity.
Not so some of the common cold viruses, you can catch them every couple of years as our bodies do not handle them like all the others and that is why, despite billions of dollars spent there is no common cold vaccine.
A novel, human manufactured virus from bats is a first case scenario and no human could have expected any or all of the similarities and differences this freak organism will have compared with natural viruses.
AstraZeneca withdrew their vaccines from the market after being proven they cause severe clotting and myocarditis by several Governments which had previously banned it.

I was a front-line provider in Australia. Before a single dose of the AstraZeneca DNA based vaccine was even delivered we were provided with a large volume of specific detail from the manufacturers. Right from the get-go we knew about the Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia (TTS) syndrome and that is occurred in 2 - 3 every 100,000 and all were elderly. This is a provable, unarguable fact. We knew, we were told, we made our choice.
Three years later, only one fatality from this cause in the whole of Australia has been reported AND TTS occurs naturally sometimes without known cause.
I chose it because I was suspicious of the lack of similar data provided to us by ALL the mRNA vaccine manufacturers and providers.
I spent time with every single patient before even the first injection informing them of the above, the TTS risk, the Covid infection risk, my preference and also the possibility of their waiting until we had a protein based one authorised and distributed to us in Australia.

How could you explain that AstraZeneca started massive production (400 million doses) before the first clinical trials were over and obviously without the approval of ANY government in the world?
How could you trust a government EUA approval of a pharmaceutical product based on clinical trials funded, legally managed and rigged by the manufacturer?
Were you aware that none of the clinical trials searched for infertility and miscarriage as side effects? Were you aware of the severe menstrual problems as a common side-effect?
Are you aware that no country has ever done full quality control on the vials? That paramagnetic elements and other lethal elements were found by independent research teams?
Knowing that the spike protein had been designed as a bio-weapon, with the insertion of an HIV sequence and a Moderna patent for cancer sequence, and that it was proven it caused so many lethal complications with COVID, why did you expect that a haccine causing your cells to endlessly produce the s-protein to be beneficial at all?
Did you know that the haccinated are still producing COVID spike protein? Nobody knows the dose! A basic pharmaceutical principle since the time of Paracelsus: the poison is in the dose! How could you have recommended a pharmaceutical product without knowing the dose?
Even naively believing the benefit scam, how could you recommend a lethal injection to people outside the comorbidity risk, especially the young?

It could well be 1 in 100: those numbers come from “official” adverse events databases which we know are rigged to hinder reporting and only consider a person vaxxed after 2 weeks (when most of the side-effects appear). Also, the side-effects are masked under "long COVID", so they are never reported.

I have known my job for the full 55 years I have practised Medicine and I do not need some jerk to tell it to me.

The spread of infection with respiratory viruses is a well known and well understood phenomenon.
We knew that exhaled breath from breathing and coughing contained droplets of multiple sizes, some of which remained in the air for significant times.
So, properly worn and designed and manufactured masks covering the nose and mouth and catching the entire exhaled breath minimised the amount of exhaled virus containing particles in the ambient air.

We knew that inside air being rebreathed needed refreshing so
AIR PURIFICATION and CIRCULATION GOOD and
PHYSICAL DISTANCING in ENCLOSED PUBLIC PLACES GOOD
Virus was repeatedly detected on fomites, so hand sanitisation and disinfecting door handles, pens and other objects changing hands needed.
